I personally would love to see some miniatures that focus on the United States in its first taste of combat during Operation Torch in November of 1942. It would be a great opportunity for some scenes that portray the US Army when it is at its most raw and inexperienced state, which would allow for some great storytelling as they're forced to quickly adapt to a whole new way of warfare. The biggest aspect that I'd love to see is how the infantry look in comparison to the more late-war figures, with the fresh-faced and eager infantrymen armed with M1903s and wearing bright US flag shoulder patches setting a stark contrast to the gruff and hardened G.I.s we see in the D-Day '44 series.
Some possible scenes I'm imagining in my head include:
-M3 Stuart tanks marked with painted-on American flags being driven ashore
-G.I.s interacting with North African civilians, such as an officer asking for directions or where the enemy is.
-Some scenes where G.I.s capture a Vichy French position, such as one taking a French flag as a trophy or another searching a French prisoner for intel.
-Other G.I.s in an assortment of poses such as a group of MPs directing traffic off the beach or a group of rifleman setting up a perimeter.
