Ever seen it?

My favorite, with Jaws and man Who Would Be King.

Probably the only movie that ever really influenced and impacted my life (besides Jaws)

Saw it when I was in third grade. Probably a mistake on my parent's part, as Jonathon E became my role model. Went from a athletic but kinda soft wimp to a monster who used metal spikes in Bronco league baseball for evil, racked up State records for technical fouls and rascalism in basketball, and invented the "NCAA Tennis Brawl" and "Hitting a return of serve into the stands at your opponents mother" spectacle. The movie's influence on me was a blessing. And a curse.

In a twist of fate, first year in law school, I learn that Bill Harrison (author of Rollerball and Mountains of the Moon) is a professor there! Became friends, he gave me an original Jonathon E jersey worn by Caan in the movie for my wedding present! :)

Interestingly, he told me his theme, that "They" couldnt let one star become bigger than the sport, was the opposite of reality now. That corporate sponsers and the media couldnt let the GAME become bigger than the individual: A star with shoe contracts MUST win, or the rules would be changed to make it so. Interesting, and valid.

Anyway, my favorite. Has any movie ever actually made an impact on your life?

I agree that Rollerball was a good movie.

For me, I loved Zulu and then Lawrence of Arabia. Nothing comes close.
