For all you Napoleonic fans (Ron and Wellington:D)just thought i'd let you know that Osprey have a book coming out entitled 'French infantry tactics' in the next few months.Hey perhaps it'll explain why they all laid down in front of the thin Red Line!!!:eek::D(only kidding)

Right now Osprey are doing a 25% off deal.:)
 
That would be an interesting book for any interested in American military history; our army copied French tactics (and even uniforms to a small extent). Example: US "Voltiguers" during the Mexican War.

(We copied their uniforms until the French were overrun by the Prussians, and then we wore spiked helmets until the early 1900's)
 
I've just started the Osprey book on the Churchill Crocodile,looks good.
