There's bound to be some members of the forum who are unfamiliar with the Osprey series of books. IMO they represent outstanding value for money and 25% off is a good deal. Due to their nature they generally can't cover any particular subject in any great depth but they are a good starting point. The photo's and maps are usually pretty informative as well.

I agree Harry.They are great for an overview of the subject and as you say the cutaways and photos are very good.There are many areas of Military History that i've only read a little about,Crimea,Indian Mutiny,ancient China etc.These books are a very good basic grounding to lots of new subjects,making you want to dig a little deeper.
