Other kind of guns, please! (1 Viewer)

It's well worth watching! Just don't base a history thesis on it. You can rent it on NETFLIX. Reviews are mixed.

Amazon has it for around $14.00

I just ordered one on amazon new for $3.50 so if it,s a bomb it won,t be a big loss. They still had a few new ones real cheap if anyone else is interested.

There are not many napoleonic movies out there and there are even less good ones. I,ll give it a shot for this price but I don,t have my hopes up for this being one of the good ones???
Are there any good battle scences in this one?

One big battle at the end with the Spanish storming a walled city occupied by the French. The Gun is used to breech the walls. That's pretty spectacular. There are some other fights like a raid on a French camp ,the bombardment of the Spanish trying to get through mountain pass, and the demolition of a bridge full of soldiers. Ms. Loren dances for Cary Grant. That's spectacular to!

I think you will enjoy the efforts to move the big gun and the music. Francisco Goya's artwork is used from the credits.

Here it is. Great shot of the Pride and the Passion Gun too.
