Hello All. Don Pielin, the organizer of the OTSN show is contemplating adding an area at this year's Chicago show dedicated specifically to displays only. We would like your input about this idea and if you like it, some support to get some space reserved for a fantastic display we have planned.
Treefrog Treasures, in conjunction with Beau Geste has had plans in the works for almost a year for a spectacular Delhi Durbar display. As many of you may know this is Beau Geste's specialty area--they plan to keep releasing new Delhi Durbar pieces until they have produced figures representing the entire parade of 1903! For this year's show we would like to make a display reproducing the parade with all the Delhi Durbar sets they have made so far. Daniel may be sculpting parade-goers specifically to line the streets of this display and it should be outstanding.
Don hasn't decided for sure if he wants to go ahead with a display area or not, so I thought some public opinion would be helpful. Give us your views here on the forum and if you want to see the Durbar display at this year's show be sure to let him know too! You can contact Don at dimestores@aol.com to voice your opinion.
