I decided to create a thread to wet the appetite and have other members contribute their OTSN pictures.

Alex,

What a grand idea! I would post some of mine, but I have yet to determine how to do so. Further, the show last September was my first experience with a digital camera and the quality of my pictures demonstrates that it was my first time to use the camera.

Seeing your pictures causes me great pain as I realize the show is still more than two months away! On the other hand,...I need those months to save for the treasures I hope to find! :)

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Thanks alot Alex.I had to change plans and NOT attend this year because of Priorites that supercede toy soldiers.
I love walking around and looking at the displays and had arrangments for my own displays. Well nutz. Thanks for reminding me.I'm not bitter.
Just kidding but I am disappointed I cant be there to talk shop with all of you.
FubARRrRrrRRrRrR:(

Hi guys,

Did anyone get good clear shots of the Durbar display from last year? I looked at some of the ones posted and would love to see some more especially since I probably wont be able to get there again this year.:(

Have a good one and please keep posting the great pictures!

Dave

I Think I speak for all of us who have not gone and will not be able to go this year, when i say I find this thread rather depressing.

I remember that St. Petersburg castle. It was really something. The detail, the working portcullis, the sheer size. I was impressed. I am really looking forward to this year.

Wow guys those Teutonic Knights were very well done! I really wish I could be there this year.

Dave

Being of course bitter because I could not go last year and will not be albe to go this year let me ask a questions. Having looked through the great pictures from George and Treefrog what company does those great Napoleonic and Tectonic Knights?

Thanks,
Old Guard

I think they are figurine emporiom The set up looks very similer to the set up at the show down here in dedham mass. but, I could be wrong they could be tin bay? I always have to stand there and look over every figure wishing how nice it would be to win the power bowl lottery to be able to afford them as they are NOT CHEAP!!!! but they do look incredible, even more so in person.

They are incredible. I'm a WWII collector but I had to take a picture of them because I was very impressive.

Found Tin Bay's web sight but I could not find figurine emporiom web sight? Not that I have won the powerball or anything but it is always fun to look.

Thanks,
Old Guard

Thank you Fish!
I looked at these repeatedly last year at OTSN.I wasn't as weak as I thought since I managed to restain myself.
Morale could still fail though.

FubArrrrrRRRrrr:confused:
