Any you older guys remember this fire?
I was in the 6th grade at the time, 12-1-58, attending a Catholic grade school when this fire occurred.
I remember really being freightened going to school after the fire, afraid this could happen to me.
I don,t know what made me think of this the other day, but I found a web site dedecated to the incident.
What a tragic thing it was.

As I was at the time in chicago,,shocking,,the age of the catholic schools,wood construction etc was an issue,the public schools like i attended were a bit newer,,terrible winter tragedy.
