19 January 2007 - 13 Soldiers killed in helicopter crash
16 January 2007 - Four more Soldiers Killed in Iraq

GIVE GENEROUSLY!!

Throughout our Nation's history, the American SOLDIER has
been called upon to protect and safeguard our way of life.

We all know a SOLDIER. A brother, sister, son, daughter,
grand-child. We all know the sacrifices they make and the
dangers they face. We all know we owe them much.

No time in recent history have we as Americans owed more to a
SOLDIER. Our very way of life continues to be threatened and it is a
SOLDIER who continues to make the sacrifices necessary to ensure
we all remain safe each day.

Count your blessings every day and take the time to share
some of your good fortune with a SOLDIER. Here is your
opportunity to say THANK YOU to an American Hero ....

AN AMERICAN SOLDIER.

Share this website with at least ten of your friends and
family. Pass it out at church. Get the word out and the
donations flowing. Together we can make a difference.

This is another good site to find out whats realy going on. ( http://www.military.com/ )

Please give it look and see if you can help.

All of you who know me know how I feel about this.

Chuck, please check out a web site called www.anysoldier.com where sevice men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan post simple wants and needs they don't always have ready access to, snacks, personal hygiene items, books, games, dvd's, candy, etc. You only pay postage to the APO in NY. It's a great way to let our men and women know we care about them and appreciate their efforts. No matter how you feel about what's going on, we need to SUPPORT the TROOPS.:)

Thanks Chuck & Fred. Already researching the sites to see what I can do to help out! Your efforts are very much appreciated!

This got lost in server switch, but it's well worth repeating as there are a lot of seriously injured service men and women who could use a little support. A new state of the art facility, all privately funded, opened last week in Texas and you can find out more about it at www.fallenheroesfund.org
