Rob, there was no-one to blame but himself. I saw what was posted before it was pulled off the forum. He MUST have known it was completely unacceptable. I sent several PM's to him prior to the ban suggesting he take a chill pill and lie down in a dark room with some new wave ambient music. But he insisted on going his own way.
Too bad, too sad - no sympathy I'm afraid.

Only when you are a New Zealander and you decide you dislike your own countries national anthem sooo badly, you decide to migrate to another country where you hope you will never here it again! But then your Rugby Team, the mightly All Blacks, remain the best in the world! And every time they are challenged by another team less fortunate than themselves (France, Japan, Portugal, The Azores, etc..) they feel compelled to play our anthem again!! I think other countries do it just to put the All Blacks off.... sometimes it works.

I think all of us owe a great deal of gratitude to Pete and Shannon for removing the foul-mouthed, racist rant, which appeared briefly over the weekend on the Forum.

Like most of you I love this forum and what it has achieved in the relatively short time since it began. It has brought together collectors and enthusiasts from all over the world to discuss toy soldiers...military history and much, much more. The vast majority of the posts have been insightful...interesting...and often very funny. The overall tone of the Forum has also been, for the most part, friendly and fun.

This vicious, violent and obscene post is a “first” and I hope a “last” on the Forum. The “poster” with whom I have “crossed swords” with in the past should, I believe, be banned from ever taking part again.

Andy, if the truth be told, most of your crossed swords with Oz ,was over product quality, which you addressed with your new and future releases. Whatever happened, when I was on vacation, never approached the same severity ,in your give and take posts with him or others, concerning quality matters or wish list improvements......In fact, you have verbally smacked your fair share of customers ,in the mouth and have started more than a few flames yourself. Please do not equate your product issues with Oz and other legitimate posters with the total meltdown of a member, concerning a non toy soldier event. That OZ went nuts, ought not diminish his past contributions.......Michael
