I Just went To Sierra Toy Soldier to pick up it up.The P(erfect)-51. Is sheer perfection Piece to look at. I Can not wait until I can display this. It is the Cadillac of the Skies. I Got the Hurricane earlier this month, another great one
But this definitely be the one of the centerpieces in my Hopefully Growing Collection of Airplanes (C'mon, Andy!! Please Release a lot more planes) Me-109, Fockewulf, Spitfire, Stukas. And I am afraid to ask this Bombers B-17, B-24, B-25, Heinkel, Junkers. OOPSS forgot the P-38. So please!!Please. And whatever comes out thanks. (And in case Your asking Fellow Forum Members, Why I am afraid to ask for Bombers, The Mustang Box is HUGE), And I am imagining How big a B-17 Plane with box is.

Don't forget the prettiest bomber (IMHO) of them all; the B26 Marauder!!

BTW, how are the wings of the P51? Someone wrote that the trailing edges were too thick! Can you give us, being one of the first owners, your insight?

To tell you the truth, the Huricane and the P-51 Mustang are my First airplanes. So as far as trailing edges being too thick. That I do not know.
As far as the B-26 Marauder, I will take any plane that K&C makes, that is reasonably priced $200.00 or below:D. Not unless its a bomber. I might go double that;). I wish I knew about the edges though. Sorry!!:(

Thanks anyway. I'm sure you'll enjoy your P51. Mine will arrive soon.
Cheers!!

I wonder if there is a poll on What we as collectors are looking to add to our airplane collection, I wonder which will win out?? ( To those forum members that knows how to make a poll, hint, hint please make a poll);)

It's not hard. When you start a thread, at the bottom of the page, you're given an option to start a poll. Just click on that and follow the directions. If you're having difficulty, I can do it for you. Just let me know which kind of planes you're interested in. Also, please indicate if a member can vote on more than one item or just one.

Brad,
Thanks a Lot for the info. I Really appreciate it!!:)

This looks like a great model of the P-51. If anyone receives it soon, how about giving a review and posting a picture or two? I might have to have one:eek:

Well, You have two options. You can look at pictures, And base Your decision then (with 400 pieces,Treefrog is Out, Sager is out), Or Buy it. See it for yourself(I don"t think you will be dissapointed), And if you really do not like it send it back, or sell it at Ebay(I think I only saw it Once). Or do not get it(I guess there are three options). But just Do not wait too long if you are getting it.

I think but do not know for sure if they'll make more. The keywords (on the K & C site) are "planned production." That usually means more.

I do not doubt that, that they will be making more P-51'S, But more than likely it will have a diferent markings. than this first release. Like what they did with the Hurricane. So its Just a matter if someone likes this particular releases markings.

I hope that the next one will come with a Malcolm hood!

Nice warbird! I passed on the olive green version of the Mustang but I will be picking up some of the terrific USAAF ground personnel and they need a plane to service therefore if K&C does a silver version Mustang with some splashy colouration I'm in!

Rob,

Just untie the string holding it up, and walk out of there with it. Nobodies going to question you if you work there. Go on, do it, trust me, you'll be fine.

:D

I'll do it mate;).I can hear the missus now 'What have I told you about bringing your work home with you'!

Hi Guys,

Many thanks for making our first Mustang a real winner… Now, a couple of wee points…

1. All Silver Finish…
To be honest lots of other companies have already done those… FOV… 21st
Century to name but two (I have them in my own collection). I kinda like the
old olive drab P51s… especially those early “B” versions.

2. One or Two Warbirds per month…
Sorry, I think not… more like one every two or three months is what I’ve got in mind.

Adios for now!
Andy C.
