Great diorama Rob
Where do you get all these beautiful backgrounds ?
guy^&confuse

Wonderful setup and scene, Rob.
K&C USMC are so easy to work with and accomplish a pleasing result.

Ya', your backgrounds are a key ingredient to making these min-dios such a success.

Actually, I found something that I am going to try the next few days.
I'll keep it a secret for the moment to see if it works. ...:p

Always fun to see your "playtime" wonders!

Great looking shot Rob.
Nicely done but I wish the manufacturers of PTO Jarheads keep most if not all M-1 Garands @ fixed bayonet( this sure as hell ain't Europe).
And will someone please make a rifle grenadier..Frontline did one back in time. Also the rifle company had a weapons platoon. This featured
not 1917 Brownings but the lighter 1919s AND 3-60mm Mortars(Not the overdone 81s).
4 man Assault teams had one each-M-1 Garand,Thompson SMG ,BAR and the mighty flamethrower.
Anyone looking for PTO land op.stuff...........

Thanks but I must admit I like the variety of USMC figures K&C has offered. Have all to date with the exception of the 4-man stretcher group and the camo variations.

EDIT: would not mind seeing some tank riders added to the collection and I have been waiting patiently for the Japanese bunker, but that's a different topic.

Great looking shot Rob.
Thanks Duke.

Thanks Larry. Always appreciate your feedback. I know you like the Pacific theme. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

You have some gems of backdrops in your arsenal Rob. Robin.
Appreciate it Robin; built up a little collection of these backdrops.

Where do you get all these beautiful backgrounds ?
Thanks Guy. I keep a collection from images I find online. I had originally used the below backdrop but liked seeing the water in the image I posted.

Good one, Larry. How's your project coming along?

Evening Rob,
I have three going at the moment.

* I finally got back to the (LONG OVER DUE) Japanese Aircraft carrier - Akagi for all the K&C JN planes and figures

* Second, I have a "Sun setting on the British Empire" diorama. This is mostly K&C Japanese (figures and tanks), T.G Japanese ( figures ) and K&C British Eigth Army figures. Add in some K&C SoHK and a few things here and there and you can sorta' picture it.

*Third, I have the JJD Bunker Hill and K&C USN figures in (of course) a Bunker Hill diorama. I am short on BH Deck sections so I am trying to make up for that. Mike's BH is outstanding, so I will post my with a heapin' helpin' of modesty.

One, I will start posting tomorrow as we are expecting wind, rain and …. SNOW .

Oh, actually, I have a 4th one. HINT, HINT ---- think "old calenders" ^&confuse
