your model building skills are as good as your photographic skills
guy:)

Thanks for that Guy, much appreciated. I still build the occasional model kit, usually either a plane or tank, but as the older I get.... the less patience I have and find it harder to complete projects. I still have many unbuilt kits in storage that I plan to build, but as the years keep passing I feel now that many of these will not get built (at least by me!) {sm4}

Really like that B&W picture…and wish my models turned out that nice !

Whilst not 1/30, it looks every bit big enough. Well done on the build. Robin.

Thanks Robin. But if you look at a real photo of a pilot standing near a P-47, he would look even smaller. The P-47 Thunderbolt was a HUGE fighter plane and makes a pilot look oh so tiny. But because it was so big, it makes a photo of 1/32 with 1/30 pilot not look too out of place.

Excellent pic and a great tribute to the pilot, Lt. Col. Bob Rowland of the 348th FG, 342nd FS. This P47 was a war bond acquisition funded by the citizens of Lodi, Ohio. :salute:: -- Al
