I took a few snaps of a diorama the Brisbane team is working on. We have used the TG Pacific series to depict an Australian attack in PNG in 1942 with the help of a TCS AFV. It is an excellent series with some very good sculpts. That said, TG does love his bren guns!

They are indeed very good sculpts. I am working on a Aussie jungle patrol right now and the TGM figures are real beauties.
I love all of them including the mule

Well ... I will enjoy the few days available to me during which I can boast that our dio is the best using these figures. I fear that soon we will slip into second place!{sm4}

Thanks for the compliment Jack. Great dio you have there. The last picture shows a totaly different dio, a great one with still lots of possibilities for interesting developments and additions
guy:)
Ps: it will be a couple of more months before I can deliver the end product

Here are more pictures taken by Glen, who along with Bob created this great dio....................

Well done! Very realistic. Is that real dirt? Everything seems so real!

...and a big thank you to Martin's talented lady, Marg, for that superb double-sided backdrop painted directly onto the bond-wood divider separating this from the "Sons of Anzac" dio to be found elsewhere on this forum. :salute:: Thanks Marg for sparing some time out of your busy schedule to add the finishing touch.

The base is cheap spraypaint on pva/sand mix over sheets of newspaper. The loose cover was a mix of crushed dry pine leaves and, in a crisis-driven moment, an inspirational grab from the college garden (Thanks Glen):salute:: Interestingly, no glue was used over the original leather-hard sand base (itself on newspaper) so the whole lot can be easily removed for the next dio.

WOW,

this is looking better and better each day!!!

I do like the dark sky (late evening?) and I can almost smell the tropics :)

Well Done

John

I can literally considering where I live!

Thanks for posting Wayno and Jack, the dio looks excellent and you could also use it for a Vietnam jungle scene as well!
