Hi guys, have been away from the KC board while my wife 'downsized' our home, leaving my KC figures in their boxes (climate controlled) for the past few years. Now I have my hobby space set up and have been crushed to see a few casualties among my guys...namely some BBA and BBG figures with paint chipping/loss. I'd welcome some guidance in experience y'all have had with different paint manufacturers to get a close match for touch up etc...can't wait to start setting up/sharing some dios again. Thanks !

How is it possible to get paint chips on figures storaged in their boxes? I thought it was the best way to storage them.
You can try with Vallejo acrylics, they are easy to use :smile2:

I've had figures arrive that way from various manufacturers and dealers, transit with couriers and the post office can be kind of brutal sometimes and because returning is such a pain I usually do as you and paint chips with Vallejo. To get a good match you will probably need to experiment with mixing colour. Same paint if I'm changing a figures uniform, such as I have done with some of my K&C Pacific Marines.

Thanks much, figured/hoped Vallejo would be a solution. And yes, I figured I'd done everything right with repacking/storing, but we'll make em good as new !

I have the same issue going on with a few king and country figures that are still in the box.Dissapointing to say the least.
