I am going to convert the K&C M113 to an IDF version. Can anyone recommend a particular paint color? I generally use Vallejo and Tamiya paints.
I believe Andy mentioned that an IDF Centurion was on the horizon but the M113 and T55/62 might be a long way off, especially with this pandemic.
This is a great range for armor enthusiasts. Tank battles during the Yom Kippur War were the largest since Kursk.
With quarantines and social distancing I will have plenty of time for painting and conversions.

A couple of months ago I converted several US vehicles and Australian troopers to IDF colors for Zach Lang and showed them on this forum-like the American Army, The IDF often has many different shades of the same color, often because of the harsh desert conditions. Here are the colors I used and my 113 conversion. I think AK has also just released a set to. Go to my website GallagersGallery.com and see my other conversions I did for Zach. YOu can also get the right decals on ebay. I also converted a T-54 to the syrian version to go with Zachs tank retriever.

Here's the Australian and Marine conversions to IDS troops . The symbol on the medics back is the IDF version of the red cross. I sculpted the back packs and painted the web kit tan...Viola...IDF. The Blue jeep is a conversion to Navy colors for Zachs carrier, not the IDF

Terrific conversions Pat...I know a couple of our K&C collectors who have emulated your excellent methods to enlarge their Israeli forces...

Thanks for the kind remarks-I hope you liked the article and cover page in the newest Toy Soldier magazine on converting your great Vietnam Aussy patrol into a US Special Forces patrol. Your figures are so well done and the kit so similar its an easy transition. I've done 6 so far for collectors with another in process, so thank you.
