Hello All,
I am keen to find someone to paint up Rose Miniatures 54mm figures. Initially it would be for Cameronians circa 1900, 1 officer and 3 riflemen, the latter are all in the same pose. Sadly my skills for painting tartan trousers/trews are no longer up to the mark.
So if able and willing please get in touch. I am aware that this is not a job one can do quickly, so relaxed about time scale. Photographs can be provided. My preference is for someone in the U.K. / Europe, but this is not a hard and fast position.
Hopefully,
Blackbob

I have used Steve Dixon at Mariela Miniatures to paint figures for me; he is good. His email is: mariela_miniatures@msn.com

There are pictures of his work in London Toy Soldier threads.

You might want to shoot a PM to John O'Brien-Obee, here in the forum. He's in Oz, but for his services, that is a minor detail and you could certainly overlook it.

You can find examples of his work throughout the forum, just search on his name, and you can see his work at his blogsite: http://members.upnaway.com/~obees/soldiers/

Hope that helps, prosit!

Blackbob,

after the post by Brad I thought I'd better let you know that I can't take any more jobs on as I still have 'loads of lead' awaiting their 'lick of paint' both for myself and a few other collectors.

There is only so many hours in a day, and a lot of my figures that have been awaiting paint and I just have to get them done while I can still see, don't have the shakes and enjoy the pastime.

John
