King’s Man
I need to preface this posting with a statement, that this was me just playing around with my new camera and figures. The display is not permanent, nor meant to be up to the standard of so many other Forum members.
I had the idea of showing my Old Guard figures marching in the palace garden. These soldiers are shown on their way one winter morning to posting a sentry at one of the openings in the garden wall. The walls, trees, and fountain are all Department 56 pieces. The grass is a dollar’s worth of green felt. The path is made of model train ballast. I had to make it a winter scene because all the Department 56 pieces are from a Christmas grouping.
I am very reluctant to permanently place my figures in any one diorama, as I am continually buying more and enjoy setting them up in different arrangements.
Having said all that here are some pictures I took. These are the best of the some odd hundred pictures I took.
