Hi guys, once again i seek your advice. Can anyone tell me if the winter Panther is a limited edition?.Heres my problem.I can order it through treefrog and probably pay a hefty fee from good old uk customs or i can wait and buy it at the London show in December. However i am concerned it may be sold out by then. What do you think chaps?

Rob, if I remember right, and that's not always the case:eek: , Ana once stated that HB wasn't into doing limited editions, so you should be okay waiting to buy it at the London show. If in doubt just ask her to bring one to the show for you.:D

Fred

Thanks Fred, thats exactly what i will do.

Rob

Thanks, Fred. No Rob, there are no limited editions. But we will ocassionally discontinue it (and every piece) when re-molding time comes and re-ordering quantities don't justify doing it (which is not at all the case now, for any of the sets!:D )

We are talking with 2 possible UK dealers now, and I'm sure that we will have one or both as official UK dealers soon. On the other hand, I'm planning to travel to London to continue my Durbar studies at the British Library in November so, if there's nothing defined by then, I can bring sets for all collectors who might want to order from HB.

I'll keep you posted.

Ana

Thanks Ana that would be very kind of you.

Try getting it marked as Gift. I had to pay VAT at show in London. The place you get VAT refunds they HIDE in the very back of Gatwick. I don't have to pay TV tax yet.

Thats a good idea too,i think i'll try my luck at the London show first.Would love to get my hands on the panther without having to pay my government anything for a change!

I'd love to get my winter panther marked as "Gift", from my wife that is.:D But alas both Christmas and my b-day are both over four months away and I don't think, make that I KNOW I can't wait that long. I guess that VAT is the penalty you Brits have to put up with to live in such a warm, dry climate.;)

Fred

Yes we do live in a warm dry climate,4th August 1976 i think it was.
