Hello forum members. In your opinion, which do you like better, Ak040 Panzer IV or EA029 Crusader?

Greetings G for B.

I've recently received the Crusader but do not currently have a Pzk IV. If you send me yours I'll be happy to compare it to my Crusader and get back to you....:D:D:D;)

I was going to save my money for the German September releases, but after hearing your responses I may get both tanks.

Both Tanks are a must have - IMHO.

I have the Panzer IV with my AK collection and it looks great.

I plan to get the Crusader very soon.

Welcome aboard Go for Broke! If you listen to these guys, you may indeed match your name . . . :D:D:p All kidding aside, the new K&C vehicles are all quite nice, so you can't go wrong.

Go for Broke , shouldn't you be in California? Or, should your motto be Remember Pearl Harbor? 100th Batt. (Seperate) Anyway Welcome to the Forum! answer to your question Both is better!:)

Both the 442 combat regiment and 100th battalion consisted of many Hawaii Japanese Americans during Word War II in Europe. As discussed briefly in another post, these Japanese Americans served to prove their loyalty to the United States (two of my uncles fought in Italy). What was not mentioned was that these units were the highest decorated army units for their size in WWII.

Nope I mention that a lot. I would love to see K&C make some Nisei figures.
As both units were combined due to attrition rate were they early volunteers?

"Go for Broke" was the battlecry of the 442 regiment, which stemmed from shooting crap, as many Hawaii people love to gamble. A movie was made about this regiment starring Van Johnson probably in the late 40's or 50's. Pretty good movie. KV, I don't know the answer to your question.

I remember that movie. As I mentioned before my hometown of San Mateo is an adoptive home of the 442nd Regt.

I am also reading a book called Just Americans about both units.
