I follow a paper modelling site and thought this would be interesting to the guys here. three weeks from now when they finally screen my posts( so horrible an offender I was) you'll see the pics include rudel demonstrating how to attack russian tanks and spanish civil war paper models

I remember several years after the war finished...paper toys...the one I remember most was a B17.....it was all box shaped when assembled but it look great to me...TomB

I am really struck by the craftsmanship and the quality/accuracy of the models. Also to see a notable personality such as Stuka ace Rudel is always a pleasure

That FW biplane is brilliant....better than the square box B17 I remember......from memory...I think Rudel flew about 3000 missions...destroyed 200 plus tanks and was s hot down a few times...how he survived the war is a miracle.... especially on the Russian front...cheers TomB
