K&C figure and sign. Corsair is Franklin Mint's 1/48 rendering of "Lulubelle" in diecast with no weathering.

I guess I need to track down a 1/30 K&C version of Pappy's Corsair.

Nice pic Duke and consider the JJD Corsair as it's not only extremely well detailed, but also reasonably priced. I have two and love them both.

As always, Duke ... fun to view your setup and photos.
Like our far away mate, Tom, I also have a Franklin Mint set of planes.

Scale is an issue as most of mine are 1/48 scale so you really have to use "FORCED PERSPECTIVE" but it does work, as seen by your excellent work.

Thanks Larry. I have used "Forced Perspective" on several occasions and it can work sometimes. I also have several 1/48 scale Franklin Mint planes and really like them.

Thanks Tom. Yeah, the JJD Corsairs look awesome but I don't have one yet. So far they have only made carrier based planes. I hope they make a Marines land based version as I would be all over that.

Nice shot!! Good ole Lulubelle. Real name was Lucybelle but Boyington changed it because he was mad at one time girlfriend. And he probably never flew 86 in combat, it was just available for a propaganda photo shoot. Like the way you arranged the figure with plane, can't tell size difference.

Your 1/48 scale Corsair works very well in the background
Guy:)

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you can't tell the size difference.
