Has anyone noticed them? I'm not sold on them, though they are only samples or roughs. What do you all think?

Thanks for the heads up. I hope those are the roughs. Some of the gear such as the percussion cap pouch and the haversack are missing. http://www.paragon-scenics.com/miniatures/Coming_Attractions.html The hand to hand poses are fun but don't lend themselves to buying many bags. I'd skip the 80s cavalry slouch hats for 1860s . The brims are way too wide to shoulder your musket w/o knocking your hat off.

I like their Alamo defenders but again, how many bags are you going to buy of such distinctive poses? I hope some firing and loading poses will be part of the series.

There is too much equipment on them. And one of those poses with the rifle overhead seems very unrealistic. And as mentioned, how many of those can you need?

Yes, MISSING gear. Obvious flaw.Cap pouch at least. Loose caps in your trouser pockets , NOT good. Plus they're sharp edged.Haversack is a must. Also the poses . Poor choice. The guy with his knee way up looks like the Underwood Deviled Ham devil. Too prancey if you ask me. Head swaps are nearly pointless . 2 of the 2 poses I would say ONE of MAYBE for my collection. Duplicates to0 swap heads? Not worth the effort . I would tell them NOT to invest in these sculpts for mass plastic production. I hate being negative but PLEASE don't do it!
x 3 standard rank and file poses would seem better. Make 3 Heads with forage caps and different faces, facial hair for swapping around. My 2 bits.

Has anyone ever bought their painted figures? How is the painting quality? How durable is the paint on bendable plastic? Thanks, Michael

I can't answer how durable the paint is on the figures, but the painting itself was excellent on the figures at the show.

I just ordered Paragon's Alamo Defenders. Photos to follow.
