Again thank all of you Guy, Raider, Popo, Panzer ace1944, Iron Brigade. I think I was probably inspired by the movies Longest Day and was it The Dirty Dozen? Nothing like parachuting into fire. I would not know. I did three at Fort Benning in the Navy because I had to qualify for flight and they did not like us Navy boys! But this had to be terrifying and god bless everyone of them that made it and died for you and I on the 70th, Mike

Also what a beautiful piece. I used kite string to tie one after the other of parachute cords to create it. Thanks again.

Wonderful little diorama.

I can see the scene in the"Longest Day" and always cringe when one poor guy drops into the well or another falls into the burring church. But the Dirty Dozen ... not sure. I'll have to go watch the movie again as it has been a while.

The expression on this guys face is perfect .... What the he!! .. am I gonna' do now!!

Larry I watched the movie the Longest Day again and that was it. It was Red Buttons all along that reminded me of the scene I was reproducing.
