Went to Pearl Harbor and Punch Bowl yesterday. I learn something new everytime. I didn't know the Utah was still on the bottom with all the dead still entombed inside. Their is a memorial but it is not open to the public. I was also told the tower at Ford Island was used to train navy divers. They are suppossed to be renovating it and opening it for visits soon. I recommend a visit to Pacific Aviation Museum when at Pearl Harbor. It was small but had some well preserved aircraft. Here is a link to some pics.

I was at the punch bowl and Pearl Harbor a few years ago- both impressed me deeply; until you see these two sites you can only imagine the sacrifices made by an earlier generation
