Thanks Dave, glad you like my collection; it started out based on Salamanca, but I sort of went off the track a bit..................

Valmy,
Thanks, glad you like this; they are metal, mostly Art Miniaturen, Newline Designs, Qualitycast and Hinton Hunt....................

Really love your set ups George.A couple of questions if I may.Do you collect anything else besides Napoleanic.ACW and WWII?Also do you collect other sizes/scale,like 28mm,54/60mm?

That is one amazing diorama! It doesn't matter what the scale is, when you have that many figures together, it is always impressive.

Thanks Mark, appreciate your comments. My three areas of interest are Napoleonics, ACW and WWII, been quite a while since I've done a WWII layout, I may have to do something about that.

I've though about other periods, such as Romans/Barbarians, Zulus, FFL and Franco Prussian, but have resisted to this point.

I don't have any 28mm figures, I do have a lot of 54mm figures that I've kept since my childhood, mostly Britains Swoppets (ECW, AWI and ACW) and Deetail figures (Napoleonics, ACW and WWII) and Timpo figures (Romans/Crusaders/knights/ACW/Wild West)..............

As always, beautiful work, George. Your timing is perfect, as I was recently saying to myself, "I haven't seen any of George's 20mm dios lately"...and here it is! I am always amazed by the scope of your dios and the vast numbers, which is always impressive in Napoleonic displays. Your hard work and dedication to setting up so many troops in a single dio is most sincerely appreciated. Thanks for sharing so many wonderful photos. I know you must have labored for many hours to complete this.

Thanks for the feedback Nick, I appreciate it, glad you like my diorama, I enjoyed planning and setting this one up.

Picked up a couple of new Penninsular War wargaming books with lots of great eye candy, I was inspired as a result.

Am also reading "Waterloo; A French Perspective" at the moment as well, not bad, sort of glossing over the battle to some regard, Robinsons "The Battle of Quatre Bras" is up next..........

I think you are the king of massive battle scenes George! Again, outstanding stuff and im looking forward to the next instalment.

Hi George,

Outstanding battle as per the norm.....that terrain you use sets off your figures - the 95th in the cornfield is a highlight imho. ^&cool^&cool^&cool

Looking forward to meeting you in June when you come over for the show. :salute::
