Has anyone had any experience with Perry Miniatures, I'm looking at the Agincourt range, they do look good.

Have a look at the medieval section on the Lead Adventure Forum... you'll see some excellent piccys of Perrys Agincourt range, with tips and advice on both painting and converting 'em.

The Perry's

Perhaps the mot talented sculptors of 25-28mm of the last 30 years
They made some 54mm in the past ( 5 pieces for Citadel )

I like them a lot, Nice sculpting and easy to paint..plus a HUGE catalogue of castings in various eras!
Plenty of good plastic sets also and they just keep adding more sets each year.

I believe they are sculpting the vast majority if not all of 4000 54mm figures that will be a huge diorama that is being backed by Peter Jackson in N.Z.

I highly recommend the Perry figures. I have thousands upon thousands of Metal and plastics. Metals, some have a bit of excess flash, spurs from molds, easy to clean. Some people gripe, but they are excellent castings.
Plastics, the ACW and WOTR are highly versatile multi piece figs. Lots of pose possibilities , lots of extra heads, arms with various weapons etc. Think old Airfix 54mm multipose .Just a ton of fun.
Also, I have found that large orders , somewhere around $300 US = discounts and free shipping from the UK. Even their DEALS drop in price by at least 10 %. Top notch figures, discounts, free shipping.
Yes, they have been working on Jackson's Gallipoli range for some time.Brilliant , prolific brothers.

I didn't realize it until I went on their Facebook page and saw photos of them but one,Michael I believe only has one hand.

The Perry Brothers did a range of 54mm ANZACS a few years ago for Peter Jackson's private collection.I think they are also in one of the Hobbitt movies.Jackson must be a pretty big collector. His was the credit card that the guy from Michigan Toy Soldier Co.used and got into big trouble.

Lost it in a cannon, bombard mishap while ramming a new shot. Incredibly, he learned how to do everything including sculpting all over again with his left hand.

I always buy straight from there website,...even for small orders you get a discount just have to log in!
