I'm not a rivet counter by any means, but I was looking at the latest Toy Soldier Collector and noticed that the arrows seem to be on the wrong side of the bow.

On right side you mean?
Persians use a thumb release, not a 2 or 3 finger release, with arrow on the right side.

What got my attention was the archer holding his bow horizontally. You would think the arrow would fall off. I know nothing about ancient bows, but wouldn't an arrow on the right of the bow alter its accuracy, being not inline with the extended left arm? Similarly I see manufacturers having the soldier shooting his rifle with the opposite leg forward. Anyway, just wondering.

It looks right in the stock photos. ROM075 has the arrow lieing on top of the bow for example.

Andanna, I was referring to the Greek line, but even in your example, which looks correct, but then you look at another archer in the Roman line shooting from the right, which wouldn't make sense. Again, I know nothing about ancient archery shooting.

Asian and Middle Eastern archers used the thumb release and arrow on the right. If two or three finger release was used the arrow would need to be on left for best accuracy, but with a thumb release arrow is on the right.
