Would anyone on the forum know where to find a miniature figure of Miles Davis and/or other famous Jazz performers.

Thanks......

I would be interested if there had been any but I've never seen any, although I have seen generic versions of Dixieland players.

Why Miles, and who else are you interested in?

It's actually for a gift I would like to give to an associate who is a big jazz fan.
I noticed he had photos of Miles Davis in his office.

Not the same but does he have any of the limited editions put out by Mosaic Records, www.mosaicrecords.com

When it comes to reissue sets in top sound, there is no one better. I have about 35 Mosaic sets. They issue them in CD and some in Vinyl, if your friend is into vinyl.

Marlborough had a figure of Box Baederbeck. Beau Geste has
The Harlem Hellfighters Marching Band with a bandleader.
He would have to be James Reese Europe.
I would also check the soldasdoddeplomo website.
They have numerous personality figures, including Elvis.

Harlem Hellfighters is a nice set.

I think you mean Bix Beiderbecke.

If his friend is into Miles, those two sets may not be of interest. However, most jazz fans have a variety of interest from trad jazz to avant-garde so who knows.

Don't know if they played Jazz - but maybe this band might be a suitable gift Mike??

Made by Whitetower Miniatures in the UK.

I'd never heard of them - they have some great personality figures! Don't see Angela Merkel figures all the time! haha

There is also the Frontline Glenn Miller set
I've never seen Miles.
