I picked up one of the mass battle Rebs. I actually like it. Where I do see the difference is the skin tone and eyes. But very good value. They seem to be selling good in Gettysburg. I will post some pics later

Great looking sets Brad, the new Mass Battle range looks to be as good as advertised...Sammy

Looks great. Now how about releasing some mass battle Naps !:)
Steve

I wanted to point out the one in the middle is the mass battle. I just wanted to show a comparison. But overall I think they are well done. Especially for the price. These will give Britains a good run

To be honest, I couldn't tell the difference. I'm going to a show this morning so will take a look.

When you see them in person side by side. You can tell a difference. They seem lighter. But that might be because John had the Mass Battle in a case separate from the regular figures. For me. I am totally sold. I will continue to collect the higher level figures. But really like these to add so I can have a fairly large formation. I will admit. I did see a noticeable difference in the flags.

The photos of the flags do seem to show the difference.

I saw them today and in the faces you can tell the difference between them and the regular issue. They're fine but nothing that I really want to get.

This seems to be a very astute move by First Legion, allowing collectors to assemble large groups of metal figures at minimal cost. It will be interesting to see if the UKReb begins to incorporate these ACW figures into his diodramas.

Brad, good looking figures and they will work well in filling the ranks. I think they will give WB a challenge in the ACW ranges since they are in kind of a holding pattern as of late. I am glad I hung onto my FL figures to go with these. Did you see the Texas color bearers FL just listed? Chris

Agree with you Chris. It is nice to Flesh out your formation without spending an Arm and a leg. And (No pun intended). The poses are different with the Arms and legs switched around.
