Here you go, pictures from both shows. Both shows were excellent for me, several dealers I spoke with at Delaware did not do well, the new venue is just superb, I hope they do better next year, hate to see dealers drop out of shows, it's bad for everyone.............

Gettysburg pictures; a terrific show in a terrific location, the best of both worlds, kudos to The Marxman (show promoter John Stengle for choosing this spot, next years show is already sold out!)........

Thanks for the pictures, Warrior, I'm waiting for more from the MFCA show to come in, and I'll post them as soon as they do.

We want to get our May date next year, this year, unfortunately, the April weekend was the only one close to our traditional date, that was available.

As for the displays, Alan Golden's Crusader diorama was fanatistic. When he brought it in, I did a double-take, and had to look very closely. Only then did I realize that the knights were not resin or white metal kits from Andrea or some other connoisseur manufacturer, but good ol' King & Country. He did a fantastic job of painting the stock figures, and bashing the scenery pieces. I heard similar comments from other patrons, that it was on par with the painters' work.

Curtis Sleight entered the other display that was in the Toy Soldier category, and his was equally skillful. He made a diorama of the Battle of the Snowshoes, using John Jenkins figures, that was also as good as any of the painters' work.

That reminds me that I want to extend an invitation to all of you who build dios, whatever the style you work in, whether it's matte or gloss, please to bring your work to the MFCA exhibition. You all do some interesting things, which your photos show, but sometimes, you just gotta see it live. And I think we can show the connoisseur bunch a thing or two. There a lot of talent on our side of the fence, too. It's not just buying a box of figures, taking off the lid and putting it on a shelf. I think the painters forget that it was on the toy soldier side that the hobby started.

Sorry, I'll get off the soapbox ;)

Thanks, Warrior, for the pics!

Prost, beianand!
Brad
