Here is my winter set up using K&C (the complete German Battle of the Bulge series) and JG Miniatures bases made for these sets. There are some New Model Army vehicles mixed in. The trees are Department 56 and a small wall from BAR.

Here are some more. I am sorry for the focus, I need to get a tripod, my hands shake too much.

Nice job on the display; like the way you incorporated the NMA vehicles in with the K & C, the Sturmtiger looks great in the scene. How long ago did you buy those trees, they look fantastic, dept 56 makes some great stuff............

I don't remember when I got the trees. I think it was a couple maybe three years ago. I managed to find them on sale on ebay. A shop was going out of business and I was able to pick up six sets (they come three to a set of three different sizes) for the price of two. I don't keep the set-up out on the coffee table, its on the bottom shelf in a display case. I have the American version, with more trees, and I will post pictures in a day or two.

VERY nice layout. How do you like that Hetzer by the way ? I've been tempted to grab one.

Very cool winter set up. Well done. Really conjures up images of the Battle of the Bulge.

Mike, Great display but could I suggest a winter panther?

I have one, there is not enough room on the bases and in the cabinet so I display it with my other Honour Bound collection on the shelf above.

I really like mine, I note the other thread about tank crews 'in half' and wonder whether someone will do this so there are more active crew as well as at rest.

Not to leave out the Americans.

Thanks for pics Michael. Bulge and AK are my favorites. I am slowly getting some winter bases for my guys. I really like your cases. I am looking for another Howard Miller case. Guys are hanging out on tables, bookcases and shelves. Time for a new staging area. Still takes a lot of effort for me to putter around yet. I have not done any pictures. Ran lawn tractor yesterday but I don't have staminia to keep working. Got tired out. Leadmen

Hay man, take it slow and easy when it comes to physical stuff. I speak from experience on the heart thing. Your strength will come back. Just be careful of repeated actions like vacuuming, pushing one arm repeatedly in one direction for more than 30 seconds or anything like that. Just enjoy the time and let the family help you out.
