A Rockport Tall Ship cruise had pirate day with a "pantomime" Capt. Hook and Jack Sparrow.

These recreated vessels have to pass US Coast Guard safety standards hence the life rafts. Note the propane gas electric ignition cannons on the vessel "Formidable"

It was a promotion for the tall ship cruise. It was silly but hey...pirates are "fun" like wild west outlaws.

Wish I'd have heard about it. I'd have made the trip from the western "provincial regions" of the state to see it up close. :smile2:
