I wouldn't say he was better than any other leader. I am not saying he didn't do anything, I just think he could have done more, such as risk his life by publicly condemning Hitler and calling all Catholics to oppose him. The good help but do not risk their lives. The great help at any expense- I am not saying I would have spoken out in his position, only that I would hope that I would. Funny how we mainly remember the names of people who helped slaves escaped only if they only publicly revealed they did this, risking their lives.

Brad there's no mark on the bottom but I think that's true of the repros that are being made from the old molds. I have Nixon, Churchill, Moses, Andrew Jackson, Jackie Kennedy, General Patton from the series.
The Hobby Bunker also has Lincoln and Mary Todd, Eisenhower and Mamie, and Washington and Martha plus two of Jackie Gleason!

You might be able to plug the figure into a diorama but if you be guilt by association.
Marx made numerous personality figures back in 1950s and 60s. Pius XII happened to still be alive. If these molds are still available there are 3 different President Eisenhower and FDR figures in three sizes. Funny that FDR is standing.
If the molds for the Nativity and Jesus and the Apostles are our there..THOSE would sell.

The Nativity set has been re-issued. I have a few sets in a bight cream color. They were purchased for me by a friend in Mexico. I am curious as to why you think the Jesus and Apostles would be a "seller"/

Even I would pick up a few if the MARX were available locally.
There are folks that would buy and collect the MARX religious figures because religious figures in other mediums are big sellers such as those from the Italian Fontanini maker. The LDS Church has 60-70 mm toy figures of their mythology. I can see collectors making dioramas of Bible stories combining "Arabs" and Roman soldiers.

Good points but they still do not appeal to me. I do have the LSD 54mm "Cart Set". Very nice set.
