Hi,

I presented the Battle of Quebec - or a reasonable facsimile thereof - at Recruits wargame convention in Kansas City last weekend. 250 Jenkins figures fought the battle four times over JG Miniatures terrain. You can check out photos and after-action reports here: http://cluckamok.blogspot.com/

Best regards,
Chris

Wonderful thread. I especially enjoyed the repaints of the french. The third photo of soldiers from the bottom of the thread, shows conversions of privates in the La Sarre to NCOs in the La Sarre === very nice!!!

Hi, thanks for posting! Great to see other collectors using the figures! Off now to fully digest your blog...
Adam and I had our own game last Sunday using Muskets and Tomahawk rules... we'll be adding a post to our blog on it soon.

May I ask where you got the green grass battleground from?

Of course you may; JG Miniatures. You can get yours here: http://www.jgminiatures.com/product.php?prodid=412

I look forward to seeing your report, too.

Bests,
Chris

Did you post the grenadier repaints previously on Treefrog? I can't seem to find the thread. Thanks

Hi,

I don't think I posted about the Grenadier repaints on Treefrog, but I show them in older posts on my blog. FYI there are both British and French Grenadier repaints. . . my blog is not very big yet so it won't take any time to find them :)

Thanks for looking!
Chris

Thanks Chris!

Hope you enjoyed your games, I am inspired to do more with my JJD collection....
now I just need more time......

Hi Chris

Cracking blog, thank you for posting, the pictures are inspirational. I particularly like the scenario map for Quebec. Having played TVG I am tempted to try M&T in anger, I like the sub plots and it gives role playing dimension to the game.

Cheers

Martin

Thanks, Martin. I used the scenario map (which I built in Adobe Illustrator) to play-test the game a few times so I didn't have to set up the game at home while I prepped for the convention. Curious as to why you'd be trying M&T "in anger?"

Bests,
Chris
