I think if you PM Steven Chong he has info pertaining to what planes Andy talked about at the Westcoaster.Hi guys
Does anyone know what and when the new warbirds are going to be and when they are coming out
Regards Scott
My recollection was the FW-190 was next, don't recall a specific date but I seem to remember Andy not wanting to overload the system and saying aircraft about once every 3 months.
In thinking back I would have figured a B of B release would have been next but I guess the mustang already put an end to that.
Andy did mention probably no FOB releases in the near future as he believes the Battle of Britian is in the same arena and he's definately going to hit that hard (as already seen).

I think it was FW190,Spit,ME109, in that order with a break between each of a couple of months???.

Actually - Andy told me in New York during the symposium that the releases on the poly-warbirds would be close to quarterly releases - sometimes up to four months for each.
Yes - the German FW190 is coming out next and it is expected to be a BIG SELLER - and run out very quick. The Spit and the ME109 are to follow. More German Luft figures later this year.
I for one am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Fw 190, as Photoshop can only take you so far
The Butcher Bird is one of my favorites, as well. Would like to see one with a black nose, spinner, and red trim. No yellow, please. -- lancerI'll second that, the 190 is a fierce and beautiful aircraft, I hope Andy picks an outstanding paint job for this one.
I have two of the wood K&C FW 190's made over the years (one from the mid-1990's, one from a couple of years ago), both of which have very cool markings.
I think it was 2-3 March's ago that Andy announced the new museum quality wood warbirds at the Symposium. He bought a book with literally dozens of full color drawings of different FW 190 markings. We all sat around at the farewell luncheon at the Wolenski Grill pushing Andy to make the FW 190 with the markings we preferred. Whichever Andy chooses, I am sure it will look sharp.
