I find all the background photos on the web and then enlarge them via Photoshop and then print them out on my color printer and set the scenes up in front of them. Then shoot my pictures. It's that easy.
Funny, never noticed it before but K&C figures really are like 2D animation cartoon guys, the bright very outlined figures are like a WWII cartoon really. Very bright and appealing to look at actually.
Old Tanker, indeed I've been thinking that when I eventually get around to setting up my photo booth in the new year, it would be interesting to use hand-drawn scenery backgrounds to compliment my figures rather than real photos. Real photos are great because they help to make figs look realistic, but it might be interesting to try emphasizing their artistic features as well, like a war painting come alive.
