If your interested in buying something and post an ad looking for a particular item...I think it would be greatly beneficial to post the amount your willing to pay. I say this because I have had two items so far that people are looking for but chose not to respond because I don't want to be the one making the price to other fellow Treefroggers. I haven't done this myself yet, but I'm going to post an ad looking for something folowing this thread and will include the price I'm willing to pay!

This can also be a bit awkward I think.

This seems a good idea to me. If nothing else it saves time for everyone involved. It also seems to me that if one is going to offer something for sale, a price should be advertised. There have been some listings I have been interested in but have not bothered to inquire about because no price was listed. -- Al

I agree. Having to indicate price may forestall subsequent
meaningful negotiations. By setting a price you're painting yourself into a corner.

Precisely my concern for a couple of reasons. I think it is quite likely in many cases you will either: a. request an unreasonably low price and get no offers as a result, or b. miss a better price from one of the often very generous sellers on here not looking to gouge a fellow forum-goer.

Whatever, I don't want to tell you what to do, it's just that I think this has sort of been discussed already at some point as I recall.

I think if you a selling a set you should put a price but if your looking for a set I for one would not want to put a price I want to pay as someone might offer it cheaper then the price I'm willing to pay.We can discuss price after inital contact.

Now see...if I had one and $100 was the price being good with me...it would be coming your way!

I already beat you by the way...I posted that I'm looking for KX003 and KX004 for $75.00 ea.
