How do you manually compress a picture so that it will be in the requirements ( 1000-800 ) to post.

My camera is set on the lowest digital setting, but my pictures (1060-810) are still unable to post.

You can upload your photos to photobucket (don't have to change the size). It then generates a link that you post on here and automatically resizes the photos for you.

Or I sometimes open the pic in paint and reduce it by half then save it as a different file name and then post it. That way the you get to keep the original photo.

Yes, reducing the paint. I'll work on that.

I highly recommend photobucket- it is free. You can mess around and do videos and stuff with it. If you get PB, simply have both TF and PB open. Right click on the IMG code of the picture you want, and then left click onto TF- that is how I get my big shots on the forum.
