All,

So, I WAS supposed to go to Puerto Rico in the next week with the boss lady for a week and had reservations in Ponce, PR. Well, we got alarmed from the first set of earthquakes and cancelled our trip when another earthquake hit the next day at 6.7 on the richter scale 6 miles from Ponce. Called Hilton and refunded the stay no questions asked, Southwest did the whole credit thing and I forgot that the wife had put travel insurance on the trip, so were covered. But, PR is with out electricity and you know water and sanitation is defiantly out of order. Nope, can't do it and I feel terrible for those folks.

But we get flooded with so much news that I had to remind myself that PR was decimated by Hurricane Maria just two years ago. So, yeah PR can't catch a break. I was really excited to go to the Rain forest, eat HYUGE lobsters and hit the beaches and man I am a little bummed. But, my disappointed is nothing compared to losing my house by earthquake damage and having to sleep outside cause your house might crumble on you. Sad thing was is I was just watching some youtube videos about stories of the great recovery efforts of PR post Hurricane Maria.

Anyway...

John from Texas
