Hi All,

Here's a close-up of the Praetorian Guard on my Roman Ship:

The ship itself, PRAE-mobil.

Nice use of the Playmobil Roman ship, WesternOutlaw! It definitely scales well to the TGM figures.

I must admit that many years ago (and long before I got seriously got into collecting metal toy soldiers) I got a Playmobil Roman ship just for kicks, along with their Egyptian boat and their Viking longship… While obviously kids toys, they are all of good quality, largely historically-accurate in design (especially the Viking ship), and are just fun items for kids of all ages 😎

Rob,

You certainly are resourceful and have a keen eye for different items that fit perfectly into the scenario you are creating. Well done my friend. :salute::

Thank you Mark; your comments always make me feel good in re. to my photos. Much appreciated.

Thanks Tman. I have the Viking as well as the Egyptian (and a few Pirate). Only after seeing some dios on this forum that I realized they could be used with 1/30 scale figures.

Yep, that boat is working out just fine.
Thank you Robin; appreciate the inspiration with your amazing Roman dio. Still working on something else though.
