Very nice! I have this set as well… Never understood the “reverse” panel lines, though the camouflage on the Komet is particularly well done.
 
Beautiful scene Duke. I do love this series of aircraft or for that matter, Doodle Bugs etc (drones). They have a life on their own and are wonderful to have in the collection. I love the towing vehicle by the way. What year was this set released please?

Thanks Grey. I just checked my set and on the underside of the towing tractor it says 2009. Also this set has a nice leaflet that comes with it giving a historical account of the Komet and which number of the 750 K&C sets produced your set is. Set ID # is LW004(SL)
 
Also, here's a shot of the Komet from behind so the camo pattern and upper sides of the wings can better be seen.
