I saw today afternoon these interesting figures in a russian shop in Paris.Among them, Stalin, Lenin,Breznev, Eltzin, Putin, Medvevev. It is rather rare sujects and I especially like Stalin and Lenin( I mean in toysoldiers only!{sm4}).....They cost 30 euros each, do you think it is a good price or not?( in eye view they look better than in photos).

I've painted a few casting for a local collector here in Perth, he buys them from Russia for me to paint for his collection.

Hope you like them too,

30 Euros apiece is too much. The quality of the painting is not that good. 30 Euros might be more reasonable for the lot of them. They're not particularly rare, either.

Prost!

7 figures for 30 euros?{eek3} I think you can't get not even 7 old del prado for that.

Hi Poppo,

I recently bought 2 mounted figures (one is del Prado) for 12 Euros each in Spain.
There were other single foot figures and these cost from about 6-10 euros each. FYI

You can, if you know how to haggle. And to you, they might be worth more than that. To me, they're not. They're worth the metal, because if I were to acquire those figures, I'd strip the lousy paint job and re-paint them myself.

On the secondary market, the price of any object is what the buyer and seller agree to at the time of the sale.

You asked us what we thought. If you wanted an argument, you could always go back to tank's threads.

Prost!

I don't want an argument and yes, I sometimes love a Del Prado as much as a KC. And sometimes, I prefer a not so nice figure, but with a useful pose for a dio, than a beautiful one with an unuseful pose.....Have a nice evening :)

I don’t mind paying 30 Euros or $33 if a figure is worth it. The only one I could see paying that much for is Lenin because you don’t see a Lenin figure often or at all. Otherwise, I agree with Brad. I wouldn’t have a Putin figure in my collection even if it was painted to the highest Russian standards.

I agree with you. But I know you would pay any price for a figure of the actual USA president and look at it during the whole day, right?{sm4} By the way, I think I won't buy none of those figures...Have a nice day:salute::
