Before Culloden, there was Prestonpans - a victory for the Scots, who gave no quarter to Cope's army. Emboldened, but with no unified command, Prince Charles' highlanders charged maddenly and tragically to defeat at Culloden the following year

...good to see so many of the Jacobite range mixed in with similar period figures....my fingers are kept crossed each time the monthly JJD update is announced....always hoping for more Jacobites, etc.....
...there were a few battles & skirmishes during the '45 that could similarly be portrayed...
...by coincidence we were over at Culloden just last week...
