Problem with recent K&C eBay listing. (1 Viewer)

I have had problems getting a photo to upload to eBay for my eBay listings since eBay changed their photo uploading method back in 2009. Relative to my last eBay listing than ended 2/4/2010 of K&C set CF 022 I could not get a photo uploaded to save my soul! I tried everything suggested by eBay, but still no help. I was just wondering if anyone else has had problems uploading photos to ebay on their more recent listing of items.

Did you try making the image smaller ? I have had several larger pictures not upload until I reduced the size.

I had a computer at work that would take for ever to load each new Ebay page...a member here named Walt suggested upgrading/changing my browser. I installed the Firefox browser and the issue was completely resolved. Come to find out a member named Chris had the same issue as well and Walt's helpful suggestion was a cure for him as well.

I had the same issue at work with ebay by the way and have given up looking at ebay there which, by the way, is probably the way it should be.

Thanks for your information. The last thing I did just after my last eBay auction ended was to add a new browser (recommeded by eBay tech as last resort) "Mozilla Firefox". I tried a pretend ebay listing by clicking on my last sale item @ "Sell similar item" and tried to upload a photo even though of course I was not going to complete the listing of item I already sold. But still no uploading of a photo at least the one time I tried. Perhaps I need a new computer to replace my "old" late 2002 one?

Hi Gary,

When you next try to upload an image to eBay, select the "Enhanced" tab.

If you have not used this before, there is an auto download of eBay picture manager software.

The downloaded files go to the Temporary Folder under Documents and Settings.

Thank you all for your comments. I will consider the assorted suggestions that have been given me. Perhaps getting a new computer by next year may be the best way to go over the long haul.
