Is it just my luck? I have ordered tons of K&C items in the past with everything arriving in excellent condition. In the past month I have received two armor pieces, the Elefant and the Chaffee Tank with significant damage to both. All pieces are packaged carefully by the vendor but still damaged. Has anyone else had problems? Is K&C doing something different in the packaging of the pieces or is this a problem exclusive to certain pieces or just my bad luck?

Can't say for sure but I've received around 6 AFV from K&C and around 40 figures in the last week or two with no damage so I don't think they are packaging differently:confused:.

Probably just bad luck. I had a problem with the M5 but that got replaced and my Chaffee and Elefant came through fine.

Hope it works out for you Spick and your luck improves. I've had my share of bad luck with various manufacturers and I know it can really affect your enjoyment of the hobby. As nice as they are, toy soldiers and their vehicles are very fragile, and at this small scale, imperfections can definitely mar a piece, whereas they wouldn't be noticed in the grand totality of a larger collector's item.

I would say just a piece of bad luck. I have only had a few items arrive damaged, Andy's packaging, and our dealers careful shipping is usually enough to protect our latest purchase!

The Elefant I Recieved Had A Bent Gun Barrel. It Was About At 20 To 25 Degrees Warped Downward From Thefront Half Where The Brace Is Forward But My Very Professional Dealer Is Taking Care Of It And I Hope Kc Takes Care Of Him

UHhhhhmmmm. i just opened 5 boxes of WS series stuff and BoB stuff and three of them had broken parts. One had the tread broken in 4 or 5 pieces. The other had a broken main gun and the final one was a broken rifle. But what a pain.:(:(

I am lucky I have a K&C dealer in my city and so I see everything I buy before I leave the shop.Somethimes you find small paint chips but very easy to touch up and mix the colours .Simmo.

Planning a guick trip back today. I live 5 miles away. Paint chips are easy to take care of. I wish that was all that it was:(

FYI....I have found this with Napoleonics lately as well.....as far as I'm concerned K&C must have reduced there quality inspections lately or someone is drunk....If it keeps happening I will be seriously considering my decision in purchasing K&C in the future....

Which Naps? Just received more 42nd Highlanders and Russians and they seem to be packaged the same with no damage. Are they older sets that might have been damaged sitting around a stockroom somewhere?

Sometimes batches of stuff go out with problems. Like FOB 039. I wanted to cry when I saw the treads. Took it back to the shop and was given a good one. Was told there had been a few with broken treads.

I was told by a very reputable dealer that they received several damaged sets. They are replacing my Chaffee, but best to check everything out.
