This is fantastic....John is really getting himself organized...I'm glad this is on his site...this will take out some of the legwork for researching.

Yes it will won't it.
I would also like to see listed the actual number of sets produced. I don't think all of the retired sets reached the full 'production quota'. Although this information is there for QR-01. 250 sets but only 139 produced. All in all very useful.

Pete...

I see that on the QR01...

I had heard that QB06 and QB07 didn't reach full production quota...

nothing official...

just one of the dealers told me that it seemed to run short and had caught collectors off guard...

but I would guess the numbers are good...

I might ask John...why QR01 didn't maximize and if any others didn't also...

Mike,
I believe John wasn't that happy with QR01 so he 'killed' it. It has never appeared on his web site before and I think was sold kind of 'under the counter'. I could be wrong though.

John kind of explained his mixed emotions on the QR01 release once before to me...

it was his first private endeavor and I think he is glad it's behind him...

it may never make his website...hehehehe...

I also heard a story ( a rumor) that some of the original shipments were lost in the mail and never recovered...

of the 139...maybe even not that many were actually delivered...

I don't know...

regardless...I wish he would show it on his site....

John has the QR01's release date as April 2007...

does that sound right...

I always thought it was well before the BM series...

which has many release dates of 2006...which I know are right...

were Wolfe's Rangers released in April 2007?

The first BMs were in 2006. QR-01 would have been before then. If I recall, John re-released some unsold QR-01s (probably among the 139) that he had left about then after a few of us on the forum discovered it. There is a forum discussion about QR-01 from April '07 - so original release had to be before then:

Chronoligically...

your explanation makes sense...

the WI's and RR's from Frontline were retired in 2006...

the BM's are on the production list as released in 2006...

John must have been ready for the transition from Frontline to the ranks of self employed...

someone told me there was a lot of animosity on Frontline's side about the split...I have never heard the whole story...whether contracts or handshakes were broken...whether or not it was an amicable split...I would like to have a sit down one day with John...
