Dear Fellow Forum Members,

Today (1/26/09) is Chinese New Year, Year of the Ox, Lunar Year 4707. People born in the Year of the Ox are considered methodical, dependable, honest and hardworking. My family and I wish everyone good health and a prosperous new year. Gung Hay Fat Choy!!! :)

I know I'll be writing "Year of the Rat" on my checks for the next two weeks, until I get it right :D

Seriously, thanks, and I'll second that greeting!

Prost Ochsenjahr! Einen guten Rutsch!

As my wife is from Wuxi province northwest of Shanghai, I say Gōng xi fā cái!

My best to all. May better times be ahead.

Gung Hei Fat Choy ... or perhaps, Happie Niu Year to all Forum members.

The Chinese New Year, or Lunar New year is celebrated by most of the people originating from East Asia. By Chinese horoscope, its the Year of the Ox. So its going to be tough ... but resilient.

Here's hoping that one of the manufacturers will release a pair of oxen, to help move supplies & guns for our toy armies. :)
