Hi mates,

let me share with you some pictures about the Swiss guard. I'm very fond of that amazing figure. As you can see below, K&C has done a terrific work!!! :eek:

Best regards

Enrico ... as I said in another post of yours ... you continue to amaze me with the breadth of your collection. Tremendous.

I love the Swiss Guard line. I am curious why K&C didn't make a POPE or a few of them? :confused:

Your display is super. What is the structure?

So do I!!! I've always wondered why K&C never make a Pope. Shall we ask Andy to beef up "Swiss guard line"? Are we too demanding? I’m sure that he can take our suggestions. :eek: Thanks a lot for your comment about my collection. That means so much coming from you. Collecting toysoldiers is my favourite hobby and I like sharing my "stuff " with other collectors from all over the world. I'd like to meet them... one day. :eek:The structure is the same that I've already used in many dioramas. Unfortunately, the Italian factory ("Rhino tank"), that made this, has closed. That's a pity!!!{sm2}

Keep in touch

Enrico :smile2:

The first dio I have seen using this new line. It does look quite smart. Robin.

Thankyou Enrico for posting your pix of the Swiss Guard...they don't get as much exposure as I would like but it's always good to hear from those collectors who do appreciate them!

Sad to hear of the demise of 'Rhino'...I have several of their vehicles and figures in my own collection.

Very best wishes to you and all our friends in Bella Italia.
Andy.

Hi Robin,

it's true what you have just written. This is the first but I hope it will not be the last. Believe me when I tell you about this amazing Swiss guard. In fact, I've asked Andy to beef up this line. Who knows, maybe one day...:rolleyes:

Thanks a lot for your comment.:smile2:

Cheers

Enrico :)

Hi everyone,

let me thank Andy for taking on board an old my request! :rolleyes: As you guys can see (photos taken by my good friend Stefano in Chicago a few hours ago) K&C has beefed up the Swiss guard line but, above all, has made the Pope!!! {eek3}

Cheers

Enrico

Now that really does beef it up. There is now the possibility of a story. Well done Enrico, and good job Andy.

Wonderful, the series makes more sense now and lots more collectors will get on board I am sure. Robin.

I saw the figures in Chicago and can verify that they are truly an excellent addition to a (somewhat) new series.
I was not to interested in the sets before the newest releases were shown.

Now they will be an item for me to strongly consider.

The new sets bring to mind the Dan Brown books .. The Da Vinci Code and Angles and Demons .

Hi LaRRy,

that's a great report! :) Thanks a lot for your accurate and detailed information on the new addition. :eek:

Cheers

Enrico

P.S.: I agree with you...something reminds me of someone I've seen before in one of the film based by the Dan Brown books {eek3}

The Swiss Guard by K&C do look impressive in their armour.

There he is, the Pope! :) As you guys can see, I've beefed up my diorama a little (with several new Swiss guards) :) Let me thank Andy for taking on board an old my request!:rolleyes:

Cheers

Nicely set out diorama and striking figures. Well done Enrico. Regards Greg.

Nice work Enrico ! :salute::
I remember seeing the Swiss guard when I was in Rome many years ago and even caught a glimpse of Pope John Paul II being driven around.

You can now make various scenes with you Pope and perhaps you have ideas already !
