I converted some Italeri french hussars into Prussian Brandenburg hussars. I used heads from the new Hat prussians but I had to add mustaches to them with 2 part putty and I had to rework the pants also. I did 5 figures with the reworked Prussian style riding overalls but I also left 4 of the figures with the hussar style boots and pants. I had to remove all the detail from the boots and pants and rework them with 2 part putty. I also did a bugler with an arm from the Italeri french dragoons and i had to make the bugler shoulder marking on him from 2 part putty also.
I also added a large washer to the base to help these guys stand well.

I hope to do a few more in the future and build up a small force of Prussian hussars but I have a habit of getting side tracked so It might take awhile.

Here are a few pics and a quick mini dio with them.

It's always nice to see the results of your conversions Tim but what's even nicers is seeing you at play with them providing us with a number of outstanding battle scenes...........Joe

Little Jewels! Great and I like to see the Prussians get their licks in as well.

Hi Fish

great conversions - good skills

ITALERI have stopped the general issue of these hussars which is a pity as the horses in particular are excellent and with 4 poses very versatile for other French regiments and other armies cavalry

Like your diorama set up
